Decay

A yard I started to clean up… I had to get into a garage to help with a project and the doors hadn’t been opened in several years. It’s an elderly couple’s house and let’s just say, maintenance hasn’t really been consistent in several years. When I was out in the back near the garage, the scene just reminded me that no matter what our life consists of, it’s always in a state of decay.

If life doesn’t receive regular, daily care, our stuff will decay.

The same can be said for our body, our mind, and our entire life.  Take care of yourself to beat back the decay that tries to break you down every moment of every day.

I think I’ll go for  a lovely hike now.
