I am not an engineer by trade or education, but hoo-boy do I know a few of them. To a fault, they are heavily science based, results driven and they really don’t like an argument without data to back it up.
So what happens when a couple of engineers bring their backgrounds to the study of the lipid hypothesis and cholesterol? Specifically to the question of “will saturated fat or a high fat diet destroy my heart?”
First up, Dave Feldman on the effect of a high fat diet on cholesterol. Dave’s data can all be found at his website at Cholesterol Code.
And one of my favorite presenters, Ivor Cummins on how to reduce your heart attack risk. Ivor’s website and details can be found at The Fat Emporer.
